Our story

It all started at the camera roll.

Season 24/25 I was instructing snowboarding, riding every mountain my reciprocals got me into (as you do). By the end of season, my camera roll was an absolute mess.

My little nerd instincts kicked in, and I came up with a plan to build a “thing”. Something to sort the chaos: organise the photos, back them up to the cloud without digging into my coffee fund on another monthly sub, and tick off every resort I’d ridden (like those Amazon scratchy maps, but better).

BAM! No, not the collarbone, Slopestory.

It was so sick… but wait, hold on, I feel my ADHD cranking into another gear, there’s more. I started to think: the folks at home would want to add this to their album collections (those damn boomers), so why not print a beautiful hardcover book they could add? I mean, my photos are now organised and epic, so let’s add that feature in.

Many coffees later, my friends start to use it… and then randoms I don’t know across different parts of the world start to use it. The feedback has been so overwhelming, and the stokeness level is over 9000.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting and using the app. Big things are coming, and I’m excited to share it all with you.

Let’s get back to making the snow industry less corporate.

Keep shreddin’,

Chad
